The National Windshield Repair Division of the Auto Glass Safety Council will hold its committee meetings June 6 – 9 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida in conjunction with Auto Glass Week 2021.
The events include a meeting of the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard 2 (ROLAGS 2) Committee Meeting from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on June 10 and the NWRD Steering Committee from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on June 10. Meeting attendees will have a choice of staying at one of two award-winning host hotels, The Rosen Plaza Hotel and The Rosen Center Hotel, at a discounted room rate of $179. Both the Rosen Plaza and Center Hotels are conveniently connected to the Orange County Convention Center by a skybridge and are a short walk across the street providing quick and easy access to the convention center. The properties are also a short 12-minute drive from Orlando International Airport. The Rosen Plaza is a bit closer to Auto Glass Week activities at the convention center.
Health and safety protocols will be in place. The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has received its Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation on outbreak prevention, response and recovery. Recognized as the gold standard of safe venues, the OCCC is one of the largest venues in the nation to receive the GBAC STAR™ accreditation. It began holding live events again in August 2020.
