NWRA Seeks Volunteers from Membership

newsCommittee20140728The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) encourages its membership to volunteer to participate on its various committees and efforts, in an effort to grow its work even further.

“We do a lot of important work at the NWRA, thanks to the assistance of those who volunteer constantly to participate in developing new programs, standards and more,” says NWRA president Rich Campfield. “We are always looking for new participation and insight from members.”

The NWRA board of directors and its Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standards™ (ROLAGS) Committee meet in person twice a year, at Auto Glass Week in the fall and usually in February, alternating east and west.

This coming March, the groups will meet in Irvine, Calif. (Click here for related story.)

In addition, the board of directors has telephone conferences during the year.

“We welcome industry participation from representatives throughout the windshield repair industry,” says Campfield.

The board of directors currently has five members, made up of participants from both the retail and supplier sides of the industry. The ROLAGS Committee continually maintains and updates the ROLAGS Standard as needed.

Those interested in becoming more involved should NWRA director of operations Janeen Mulligan at jmulligan@nwrassn.org.
