The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) encourages its membership to volunteer to participate on its various committees to grow its work even further.
“We appreciate the participation of our members in all of our efforts,” says NWRA president Jeff Reddell of PACE Glass in Texarkana, Texas.
The NWRA board of directors, its Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standards™ (ROLAGS) Committee and its Break Identification Standard (BIS) Committee meet in person twice a year, at Auto Glass Week in the fall and in the spring, alternating east and west.
In addition, the board of directors has telephone conferences during the year.
The board of directors currently has seven members, made up of participants from both the retail and supplier sides of the industry. The ROLAGS Committee continually maintains and updates the ROLAGS Standard as needed. The BIS Committee recently released a revised draft of its Break Identification Standard (BIS) for public comment.
Those interested in becoming more involved should NWRA director of operations Janeen Mulligan at jmulligan@nwrassn.org.
