The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) board of directors is in the process of updating both its certification program and manual.
The NWRA’s certification program promotes compliance to the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard (ROLAGS™). Certification is valid for five years, and expires on the day on which a technician became certified.
“The new and improved exam and manual are the result of several months of effort on behalf of our board, and we’re thrilled to unveil both,” says NWRA board member Lenny Hennessy, who was heavily involved with the work. “The certification program is important to our membership and sets certified technicians apart from their peers.”
The revised exam will contain pull from more than 100 new questions written by the board of directors. It is the result of a long effort by the board. Previously, the online exam contained only a bank of 39 questions. The training manual also has been updated to reflect the expansive exam.
