NWRA Releases Revised Break Identification Standard Draft for Public Comment

The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) has released a revised draft of its Break Identification Standard (BIS) for public comment. The proposed standard, to be known as ANSI/NWRA/BIS 001-2016, creates a system for identifying where glass damage has been repaired and covers all types of glass in the car, exclusive of sunroofs.

A committee formed to create the Standard first met in early 2015.

Those who wish to review the latest draft of the BIS may do so here.

Comments on the Standard are due in by June 1, 2017, and should be sent to Janeen Mulligan at jmulligan@nwrassn.org.
