The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) has released a draft of its Break Identification Standard (BIS) for public comment. The proposed standard, to be known as ANSI/NWRA/BIS 001-2018, creates a system for identifying where glass damage has been repaired and covers all types of glass in the car, exclusive of sunroofs.
Those who wish to review the latest draft of the BIS may do so here.
Comments on the Standard are due in by May 1, 2018, and should be sent to Janeen Mulligan at jmulligan@nwrassn.org.
