The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) honored David Casey of SuperGlass Windshield Repair Inc. yesterday with its annual Pioneer Award. The award was presented at a ceremony in West Palm Beach, Fla., during Auto Glass Week™ 2017.

Casey has been in the industry more than 30 years and founded his Orlando, Fla.-based company in the early 1990s. He spent several years serving as president of the NWRA and a number of years serving on the association’s board. He helped develop the group’s certification program and authored a column for AGRR™ magazine for a number of years. Casey also has been a pioneer of glass repair as a franchise-able concenter.

NWRA president Troy Mason presented the award to Casey. “We thank David for all he has done for the windshield repair industry,” said Mason. “He is a true pioneer and has spent a number of decades working hard for both the NWRA and the industry at large.”
