NWRA Certification Program Continues to Grow

The National Windshield Repair Association’s (NWRA) technician certification program continues to grow, and there are now just fewer than 200 technicians certified—a 100-percent increase over last year.

In order to become certified, technicians must have a minimum of six months’ experience performing repairs, and successfully pass the certification exam. Candidates may sit for the exam at any time, but they will not receive the actual certification papers until the six-month requirement has been met. NWRA conducts the certification testing online.

Certification is valid for two years, and expires on the day on which the technician became certified.
