David Robinson to Serve as Keynote Speaker for Auto Glass Week™ 2016
Auto Glass Week™ 2016 organizers have announced that David Robinson will serve as the 2016 keynote speaker. Robinson was honored as Sports Illustrated’s Ambassador of Sports for their 50th anniversary celebration, inducted into the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame in 1998, and received the 1999 Montblanc de la Culture Award, the first athlete and youngest recipient in the award’s history.

Geico Alleges Group Filed Fraudulent Claims; Defendants Say Insurer Dodging Reimbursements
Geico has sued several companies and a group of individuals in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, alleging that they have implemented a “fraudulent scheme” by billing Geico and other insurers for hundreds of thousands of dollars for “illusionary and otherwise un-reimbursable glass services.” In response, the defendants have filed a countersuit alleging Geico has refused to pay full price for glass services and have denied the allegations.

Farmers Insurance Issues More Info on New Program
More details have emerged about the Farmers Insurance Enterprise First Notice of Loss (EFNOL) program. If a Farmers Insurance customer indicates a preference for an AGRR company via the new claims system, then the customer will receive a call from its claims administrator. Safelite Solutions serves as Farmers Insurance’s automotive glass claims administrator.

Auto Insurance Rates are Headed Skywards Nationwide
After an extremely deadly year in 2015, premiums are experiencing their largest rise since 2003. Across the United States, auto insurance rates have been rapidly climbing, with a six percent spike having occurred in April that represents the largest increase in the average premiums since 2003.
