The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) is constantly on the lookout for more volunteers from the membership to work on its board of directors and committees. Industry representatives who wish to become more involved are encouraged and welcome to join in the NWRA’s work.
NWRA’s director of operations, Janeen Mulligan, recently offered some insight for those curious about what is involved in participation.
“The NWRA’s work requires time and effort,” says Mulligan. “We are always on the lookout for new participants and ideas.”
The NWRA board of directors and its Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standards™ (ROLAGS) Committee meet twice a year, at Auto Glass Week in the fall (this year in Baltimore in October) and usually in February, alternating east and west.
This coming February, the groups will meet at a yet-to-be-determined location in the west.
In addition, the board of directors has telephone conferences during the year.
“We welcome industry participation from representatives throughout the windshield repair industry,” says Mulligan.
The board of directors currently has five members, made up of participants from both the retail and supplier sides of the industry. The ROLAGS Committee continually maintains and updates the ROLAGS Standard as needed.
Those interested in becoming more involved should contact Janeen Mulligan at jmulligan@nwrassn.org.
