There is one week each year where the industry comes together to celebrate our professionalism and to learn from the best. Auto Glass Week™ 2016 will be here before we know it. Clear your schedule for October 5-7 and join us at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Many technicians are not as concerned with quality; they are more concerned with offering the lowest price. One way to differentiate yourself from the competition is to learn about the latest industry products and services from the top windshield repair vendors. These executives will be on hand during the annual event.
Auto Glass Week also serves as the host to our industry’s most intense competition with a first prize of $5,000, a gold medal and trophy. Take home top honors as the “World’s Best Windshield Repair Technician” by winning the Gold Medal.
Second place in the Windshield Repair Competition (WRO) will receive $1,000 as well as a silver medal, and the third-place winner will get $500 and a bronze medal.
The registration deadline for competitors is August 5. To sign up, visit autoglassweek.com. Don’t wait too long because there is no on-site registration for the competition.
Competitor registration includes admission to all seminars, one ticket to the Closing Awards Concert and Party, and access to the exhibition floor, where the competitions will be held. The champions will be announced Friday evening, October 7, at the all-new Closing Awards Concert and Party featuring Jake Ward, which will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.
Be sure to join us at Auto Glass Week! I look forward to seeing you.
